Key Accounts Manager (Marketing / Engineering / Sales / Power)

Job Description:
To market company products, ensure brand awareness, create good customer relationships, and provide the company with market information and opportunities.
  • Identifies target markets per product and Customer Class
  • Compiles and submits visitation plan for the next month by the middle of the previous month.
  • Visits at least 7 customer visits per week.
  • Arranges at least 1 inward factory visit per month.
  • Participates in company and group exhibitions.
  • Determines market size for each Customer and product category per quarter.
  • Determines PTT’s and competitors’ market share per product category for this market 6-monthly.
  • Attends tender openings to obtain opening prices. 
  • Provide sales departments with market prices
  • Updates and maintains customer information database on SharePoint monthly.
  • Updates and maintains competitor information database on SharePoint monthly
  • Compiles Expenditure budgets during August for each financial year and manages it.
  • Provides information for Order Intake budget for next financial year
  • Assists Sales Managers with rolling Order Intake forecasts on a monthly basis.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Minimum 5 Years in the Electrical/ Engineering industry
  • Must have Matric
  • Related Marketing Degree
  • Related Technical Degree
  • Knowledge in the transformer industry
