Job Description:
Our client is in need of an Administration Officer with a financial / accounting background to join their team in Gauteng.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Financial and general administration duties for the local office with support to African offices.
  • Financial reporting within deadlines.
  • Invoicing, expenses management, purchase requisitions.
  • Leave application management.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures as well as statutory laws and legislation are adhered to.
  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts.
  • Accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assisting in annual stock taking and asset management.
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Completed Tertiary Qualification in bookkeeping or Accounting preferred.
  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
  • 5 years’ previous experience in a similar role.
  • Able to produce accurate results within deadlines.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and bookkeeping / accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills to interact productively with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Efficient and dynamic individual who is able to multitask.
 
Contractual information:
  • Permanent contract.
  • This position is only open to South African citizens currently residing in Gauteng.
