Job Description:
Our client is one of the leading conditioning monitoring specialists on the African continent. They are looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to be part of a great organisation, who is able to take the lead on all Marketing requirements, from the promotion of products and services to analysing data and setting strategy for how the Company is going to grow. A creative mind and a head for business are essential to succeed in this role. Strong communication coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a team are considered core skills for this position. The ideal candidate has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, analysing data, generating revenue, optimising traditional marketing methods aligned with the fast-moving pace of technology. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and co-ordinate all marketing, advertising, expo and promotional activities
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
  • Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
  • Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
  • Create marketing presentations
  • Liaise with media, advertising and PR
  • Collaborate with the sales and training functions
  • Monitor industry best practices
  • Work closely with HR department to build and generate culture/activities/plans within the organization
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • At least 8-10 years’ experience
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Technological and digital marketing skills - contemporary knowledge of digital tools, platforms and channels and a good understanding of technology management
  • Strong creative and innovative skills – ability to develop new concepts and devise unique marketing campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills
  • Established relation with suppliers
