Instrumentation Specialist (National Diploma / Siemens S7 / PCS7 / WinCC / ECSA) – Limpopo

Job Description:
Our client, a well-renowned mining house in South Africa, is seeking an Instrumentation Specialist with strong experience in Siemens S7 equipment within mining environments to join their team in Limpopo.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the instrumentation maintenance team for the production section.
  • Develop, implement and fine tune maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure compliance to company operating standards and codes of practice.
  • Technical assistance in fault-finding and maintenance.
  • Amending long term maintenance plans where required.
  • Mentoring and training subordinates.
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • National Diploma in Instrumentation.
  • ECSA registration advantageous.
  • 7 years previous experience in instrumentation maintenance within the mining industry.
  • 5 years previous experience in Siemens S7 equipment, PCS7, WinCC and Step 7 Programming.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • South African citizenship.
 
Contractual information:
  • Residentially based; relocation will be required.
  • Permanent contract.
