Job Description:
This position is responsible for achieving After Sales targets by generating revenue through billable hours of the workshops and field team

Responsibilities:
  • To drive the execution of the agreed sales (ADBP) at the business level in line with committed and signed OEM’s / TAHL’s Budgets / ADBP
  • Allocate billable/ sellable hours targets to after-sales team
  • Develop a high performing, collaborative service department that achieves long term, consistent growth
  • Managing service department processes to achieve the highest customer satisfaction level by providing excellent customer service
  • Managing the day to day operations, recognizing what is in the best interests of the department, company and customers; making decisions accordingly
  • Coordinating workflow through the shop and on the road/ field team; ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time i.e. job cards are closed on time
  • Managing work orders and warranties
  • Employee satisfaction including directing & monitoring development
  • Weekly & Monthly Sales report to Business Head
  • To maintain visual management of set targets
  • To organize and maintain the demonstration strategy for selling machines
  • To drive the business towards the achievement of agreed profitability (P & L account) and Cash Flow (CF)
  • To drive the business to implement agreed projects, best practices, new processes and tools
  • To develop and maintain a good relationship with customers
  • To be the workshop facility manager
  • Ensuring appropriate communication throughout the division and chairing weekly staff and after-sales review meetings
  • Ensures implementation of sound business practices throughout the division
  • Maintains a good reputation and image of the dealership
  • Ensure that Dealer Base Standards are adhered to
  • Manage and train After-Sales Team

  • Trade Test Qualification
  • A recognized qualification in business development or transport management
  • 3 years after sales experience, as a regional aftersales manager and exposure to dealer networks
  • 2 years’ experience in service management
  • 5 years’ experience as a qualified technician
