BD Manager (Sales / Business Development / Cleaning / Client Relationship Management) – Johannesburg, South Africa

Job Description:
Our client is a leading workplace management solutions company to numerous sectors. The purpose of a Specialized Business Development Manager is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships by building long-term relationships with new and existing clients. To develop a growth strategy focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Carpet and upholstery cleaning: Knowledge of carpet and fiber types, be able to determine best cleaning method, be able to compile a workable carpet maintenance program,
  • High level cleaning: Be able to determine method of cleaning, understand legal requirements, be able to do a proper costing for rope access cleaning, scaffold cleaning, ladder cleaning.
  • Project cleaning: Be able to determine best methodology and scope and cost accordingly (knowledge in floor types, auto-scrubbers, high pressure cleaning equipment and chemicals)
  • Kitchen and Canopy cleaning: Knowledge in how to cost for kitchen and food site cleaning, understanding food site requirements
  • Knowledge of natural stone cleaning
  • Operations and service delivery: Updating daily leads tracker, pipeline update.
  • Networking and build relationships within other Group Companies (FM, Food services)
  • Using existing Client list to grow business
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Matric
  • BSc / BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Advanced Microsoft skills
  • Driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Understand cleaning principles and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Business management principles, including proven financial skills
  • Strong on client relationships and strong communication skills
  • Preparation of sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Proven sales track record
