Country Manager (Facilities / Operations Management / Financial Performance / Business Development) – Indian Ocean

Job Description: Our client, a leading workplace management solutions provider across Africa Middle East, operating in over 28 countries is currently looking for a Country Manager to join their operations in Mauritius. The Country Manager will be responsible for providing strategic decision and ensuring the profitability of the country business unit. This would include the achievement of operation & financial growth of the business, human resources management as well as sales, marketing & business development.
 
Responsibilities:
Lead & Manage the Business
  • Identify & initiate strategies that will add growth to the business to ensure its long-term profitability & survival
  • To plan, prepare and monitor the business plan and budget so as to maximise profitability
  • Direct the company towards providing an effective and efficient profitable service
  • Ensuring business compliance with Company Policies & Procedures
 
Effective Management of Country Financial Performance
  • Manage relationship between actual results, budgets & forecasts
  • Manage revenue growth
 
Strategically Engage in Sales & New Business Development
  • Initiate business growth opportunities by driving solutions for new and existing customers
  • Involved in all business negotiations
 
Management of Operations
  • Ensure effective management of client retention and customers service levels
  • Manage quality management
 
Management & Development of Country Human Capital
  • To maintain close contact with the workforce to ensure feedback opportunities, the maintenance of good morale, high standards and alignment to the Company Values
  • Effective management of your team in terms of “Performance Assessment”
 
Requirements: Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary Qualification with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years as a Managing Director / Country Manager or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Budgeting and Cost Control will be beneficial
  • Engaging and working with Executive & Management team across multiple entities and geographies
