Job Description:

A leading and established citrus, sub-tropical plants and related products and services supplier whose principal investments lie in intellectual property primarily focusing on citrus and other fruit types and includes nurseries, farming, packing, marketing and brand activities is seeking an agricultural industrial engineer. The said individual will be responsible for improving overall efficiency and/or managing certain departments.

  • Evaluation of production line; ensuring efficiency and maximizing output.
  • Analysis of production schedules, process flows, engineering systems and other agricultural information to understand said agricultural manufacturing and services.
  • Develop techniques for efficiency of management control systems for better financial planning and cost effectiveness.
     Develop methods for delivering exceptional quality procedures to negate production problems and wasteful expenditure.
  • Coordinate, plan and design control systems with the intention of products meeting quality standards.
  • Liaising with staff, management, clients and vendors about their role in the process so that product specifications, purchases, projects and manufacturing are at acceptable standards.
  • Knowledge of management capabilities and duties.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Experienced industrial engineer with an interest in agriculture.
  • Assertive and able to communicate on all levels.
  • Industrial engineer degree.
  • Senior management experience; at national level beneficial.
  • Meticulous and deadline driven.
