Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Business Development Executive who will report to the Regional Manager East Africa.
  • Maintain and grow current customer base in Tanzania.
  • Provide one-to-one training with clients where required.
  • Remain current and up to date on industry changes (regulatory, statutory, financial, and economic).
  • Competitor research / analysis. Understand comparative and strategic advantages of competitors.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing current customer base.
  • Trade-Land development between EHOS (Export Handling Offices) and destination markets.
  • Ensure loyalty from existing clients and develop new / stronger relationships with potential clients by developing close sincere relationships.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or any other related field.
  • Excellent business acumen and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Seasoned sales and business development professional with experience in the international freight forwarding or chemical logistics industry and a solid understanding of industrial bulk logistics, warehousing and supply chain solutions.
  • Passionate about growing the business and often described as enthusiastic and an energetic person with a sense of urgency.
  • Good understanding of warehouse solutions.
