Job Description:
Our client, a reputable heavy duty machinery provider, is in need of an experienced Sales and Area Manager for their operations in the Ivory Coast.
  • Lead all business activities for the region.
  • Delivering required operational and financial results.
  • Management of customer projects and contract sites.
  • Development of business opportunities.
  • Ensure growth and development for the region.
  • Manage maintenance activities on own projects and client sites, including costing and planning.
  • Manage the cost, recovery and margin of the services operations.
  • Ensure training, resources and strategies are in place to provide a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintain client relationships through an in-depth understanding of their operations and requirements.
  • Attending to contractual issues for customers.
  • Mentoring and training team members.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Relevant technical qualification and background.
  • Fluent French communication skills.
  • 7 years’ previous experience in sales and territory management for heavy duty machinery.
  • Proven commercial acumen with successful cost control and profit and loss experience.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Able to motivate others.
  • Experience mentoring and training a multi-cultural workforce in Africa.
  • Ivorian nationals are encouraged to apply.
