Job Description:
Our client, with operations in Central Africa, is in search of an experienced Resettlement Action Plan Superintendent to plan, manage and carry out all company resettlement procedures.
  • Carry out existing resettlement processes.
  • Compiling future resettlement plans.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
  • Resource planning and management.
  • Mentoring and training of subordinates and ensuring staff development.
  • Ensuring resettlement impact mitigation is implemented, monitored and reported on.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Business Economics, International Relations or similar.
  • French communication skills highly advantageous.
  • Well-versed in the daily management of resettlement programs.
  • 5 years’ previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • 5 years’ previous experience in the management of socio-economic development activities, with a focus on social responsibility programs.
  • Experience mentoring and training subordinates.
  • Previous experience as an expatriate working with multi-cultural teams in Africa.
