Job Description:
To provide an effective and efficient Human Resource function that is aligned with the Group’s strategic goals. Successfully implement HR strategies and strategic partnerships and organizational design, recruitment and selection, employment equity, salary and benefits management, employee relations, talent retention, performance management, change management, diversity management, skills development, policies and procedures, HR reporting and HR projects.
  • Manage the recruitment of staff in conjunction with Management
  • Conduct reference checks and exit interviews
  • Coordinate the orientation and performance management processes
  • Maintain the HR filing system
  • Check the accuracy, completeness and correctness of documents for timeous submission to the Payroll Department
  • Process all administration with regards to COID, UIF, New Appointments, Terminations, etc.
  • Oversee all disciplinary enquiries and ensure that all disciplinary procedures are adhered to in conjunction with Head Office
  • Coordinate uniform fittings and attend to all queries
  • Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Minimum Human Resources Diploma or Btech Degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience performing generalist Human Resources functions
  • Excellent working knowledge of BCEA, LRA and EEA
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the VIP Premier/People Payroll system (preferable)
  • Knowledge and experience of the Kronos system (preferable)
  • Ability to cope in a pressurized environment
  • Experience working within a Private Hospital environment would be an added advantage
