Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to assist in the tracking of expenses and cost control of the company's operations. Design and assist with the cost, capital, budget and cash flow report templates, as well as Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting for the Group.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Cash flow and related reports as well as Department costs report
  • Follow up of the Authorization for Assets Expenses (AFEs)
  • Report and reconciliations of Fixed Assets.
  • Project financial modeling and punctual requests
  • Calculate and record the amortization and depreciation vouchers
  • Control of costs compliance according to the contracts
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • University graduation in finance and accounting
  • Certification in accounting (CA, ACCA, CIA etc.) or management accounting
  • At least three years’ experience in accounting for mining industry
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Proficient and experience in financial analysis and reporting in mining industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – High efficiency recommended in Excel.
  • Proficient in reconciliations of ledger accounts
