Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Mine Surveyor, with a minimum of 3 years mine surveying experience, for their mine operation in the Northern Cape.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist to coordinate, implement, control and monitor change plans;
  • Team planning;
  • Conflict resolution;
  • Data integrity;
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards;
  • Identify improvement initiatives and team recognition;
  • Implement compliance requirements;
  • Implementation of operational plans;
  • Calculation and plotting;
  • Surveyor reporting and administration (Survey performance, Survey operations, Survey coordination)
  • Resource mobilization;
  • Promote adherence to SHERQ procedures;
  • Supervise field operations.
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Certificate in Mine Surveying (NQF level 5, 6 or 7)
  • Three (3) years mine surveying experience
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience
  • Valid code B driving license

  • Systems: Electronic Document Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning, Information Management Systems, Learner Information Management System, Microsoft Office, Mine Planning Software, SHERQ Systems.
