Job Description:
Our Client is currently present in 18 African countries, making them a prominent member of the communities where they operate, contributing to their economic and social development, and therefore to that of the continent as a whole. Over the years, they have became a major player in Africa employing over 1,500 diverse employees, generating an estimate of 20,000 indirect jobs in the countries of operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, support and manage business applications and systems that meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Responsible for planning, acquisition, installation, configuration, implementation, modification, support and optimization of all aspects of IT applications including ERP, ad-hoc and major applications.
  • Ensure the organization’s repository of business applications and systems is built to meet business objectives and cost-effectively scale for the future in terms of reliability, growth, performance and productivity.
  • Manage corporate anti-virus, anti-spyware and intrusion detection solutions.
  • Align with industry best practices in product selection, standardization, design and implementation of given application and system.
  • Determine need for and coordinate third-party contractors as required to develop business application solutions.
  • Provide input and direction for continuously improving business application standardization and deployment.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to implemented products and regulatory requirements as needed.
  • Perform general IT administration activities including purchasing, software license management and maintenance contract tracking.  Assist in development of IT budgets and cost controls.
  • Develop project plans and direction within the IT team including assignment of tasks, priorities and deliverable.


Requirements:
  • University degree minimum Computer Science.
  • Excellent database management, especially Microsoft SQL server database.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work relevant work experience on Accpac-300.
  • A proven experience in the implementation and support of Accpac, would be a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge in business process management coupled with basic accounting concepts
  • Fluency in English, is required. Arabic and French would be a plus
