Job Description:
Our Client is looking for a Manager Human Resources who will be Accountable for the total Human Resources function. The successful candidate will facilitate and drive optimisation, attraction, retention and development of human potential.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collate integrated scorecards for work areas, operations and business groups. Create reports. Perform trend analysis and internal audits. Develop document control systems and practices.
  • Optimise the function's core internal processes and internal supply chain. Resolve cross-functional operating conflicts through development of processes, standards and directives.
  • Ensure that mechanisms to reduce risk to the business are implemented that ensure all legislative, accreditation and governance requirements are met.
  • Engage with subordinates once removed to encourage and recognise improvement. Approve innovations and provide the means for implementation. Implement operations effectiveness model and practice.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of statutory compliance. Evaluate negative trends and introduce remedial solutions. Communicate changes where applicable. Ensure structures and frameworks are implemented.
  • Remain up to date with macro and micro-economic conditions, legislation, competition, market sentiment and the industry in general. Anticipate and plan for circumstances that may influence the development and implementation of the functional strategic plan.
  • Develop and implement the functional strategic plan in support of the overall business plan.  
  • Oversee the compilation of the annual Broad Based Back Economic Empowerment scorecard. Manage changes and transformation.
  • Ensure business plan is implemented in a manner that supports operational, quality and market imperatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee effective implementation and functioning of the HR System (Oracle)
                                                                             
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Must have a Bachelors or Honours Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
  • 7-10years of experience in Human Resource management at senior level
  • More than 5 years’ experience in Team and functional management in Mining Industry
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Information Management Systems; Learning Management Systems; Microsoft Office and SHERQ Systems; Oracle
