Sales Manager (International Freight Forwarding / Chemical Logistics) - North Africa

Mission: to secure new business, manage client engagements and day-to-day operations in order to maintain a portfolio of profitable business and ensure excellent service delivery to the client base. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Managing all end-to-end business processes for the Group.
•    Ensuring smooth sales plan & execution; new business development; client engagement and management of the sales teams for The Group into North Africa.
•    Directing the sales team in identifying new clients / markets, driving business development & marketing initiatives and implementing sales plans to achieve targets including understanding the customer needs, recommending solutions specific to the customer requirements and ensuring excellent customer service delivery.
•    Diligent in sales analysis of the sales data to further sales targets.


Profile:

•    Seasoned sales and business development professional with experience in the International freight forwarding or chemical logistics industry and a solid understanding of industrial bulk logistics, warehousing and supply chain solutions.
•    Several years of experience in sales & operations management including budgeting, sales planning and strong innovative sales team management. 
•    Passionate about growing the business and often described as an enthusiastic and an energetic person with a sense of urgency.
•    Good at drawing insights from data and understand the importance of reporting.
•    Excellent in networking and building collaborative partnerships both with your clients and colleagues.
•    Experience and knowledge of international freight and / or logistics plus commodities personal care and chemical industries.
•    Good understanding of warehouse solutions
•    A detailed knowledge of the bulk liquid industry with knowledge of flexitanks advantageous
•    Languages: fluency in Arabic, English and French is required
