Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. The ideal candidate will execute daily tasks with a strong attention to detail.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analysing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
  • Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation.
  • Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports.
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.
  • Disburse petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results needed.
 
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skills
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field..
  • Good communication skills both oral and written (French and English).
  • Reporting skills, detail oriented, time management skills, organizational skills
  • Can work under pressure, able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to show initiative and take responsibility.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
