We are currently recruiting for a Qualified and Experienced Rail Traffic Superintendent who has previously worked in a mine environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyse process and asses the performance trends against targets
  • Ensure that infrastructure deviations affecting operations are resolved timeously
  • Ensure all rail traffic incidents are investigated to determine basic cause in order to implement corrective measures and prevent re-occurrence
  • Coordinate up and down stream processes and maintenance requirements that impact on loading schedule, rail traffic activities, client NCR’s and train losses due to rail traffic activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely generation of reports on all rail traffic activities to stakeholders
  • Schedule and manage the execution of the rail traffic processes and activities
  • Ensure accurate and effective reporting of siding and rolling stock maintenance requirements - including the administration of notifications and work orders as per Enterprise Asset Management System processes
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Rail Traffic Control certificate (TFR training college)
  • ARM Supervisory (FLMP) (Advantageous)
  • Drivers License
