Our client is seeking a qualified individual to join their asset management and reliability team in Gauteng.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Optimise plant and equipment life-cycle performance to ensure optimum production levels.
  • Optimisation of asset management initiatives and performance.
  • Assist in development, implementing and maintaining asset management life cycle plans.
  • Ensure safety, health, environmental and quality standards are upheld.
  • Ensure appropriate training and assessment packages are developed.
 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma.
  • Professional registration (ECSA or similar body).
  • 10 years previous experience in reliability engineering and asset management for fixed plant within the mining industry in South Africa.
  • Experience on computerised maintenance systems.
  • This position is only open to South African citizens currently residing in South Africa.
 
Contractual information:
  • Permanent contract.
  • Relocation will be required for candidates not based in Gauteng.
  • Regular travel will be required.
