Are you an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager with a background in hydro-metallurgical process plants and mobile plant? This could be the opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a qualified individual to lead the maintenance on site at their mine in West Africa.
  • Manage all engineering and maintenance activities including asset management, reliability, processing plant, mobile equipment, infrastructure and services.
  • Ensure optimal plant performance and availability through efficient maintenance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implementation and management of condition monitoring system.
  • Cost control and budgeting.
  • Implementation and improvement of maintenance and safety standards and practices.
  • Accident investigation and remedial action.
  • Implement training programs for initial training and progression training of maintenance team.
  • Developing planning and scheduling procedures.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree essential.
  • 10 years’ experience in the maintenance of fixed and mobile plant within the mining industry.
  • 5 years’ experience as an Engineering or Maintenance Manager within the mining industry.
  • 3 years’ experience in hydro-metallurgical process plant facilities.
  • Previous plant commissioning experience on large scale projects.
  • CMMS experience.
  • Strong asset management experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Previous experience as an expatriate in Africa.
  • Experience mentoring and training subordinates of diverse cultural backgrounds.
